Chair Report
On behalf of the National RP Board we wish you and your Riding Ponies a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.
Many thanks to the old and new Board of Directors for stepping up to make sure that the Society continues to work towards a united platform to promote riding ponies ,encourage our youth and support our many members.
COVID-19 has changed the way we showcase the Riding Ponies and it has been a very difficult 2 years for all, but hopefully with restrictions lifting we are seeing most State Committees planning a variety of shows for 2022.
We welcome all results from many shows from across Australia to be forwarded to publicity@rpsbs.com.au for publication on the RP Website and Facebook page and to be included in the RP Annual 2022. You can message the social media page with photos as well.
Please note that many Agricultural, Royal and State shows are heavily sponsored by your State Committees, which has led to an increase in Riding Pony entries at many shows, all we need is your support by way of renewing your membership and have your horses registered or transferred into the current owners name. The RP office is available to help you in renewing and registering your fine animals. If you have any questions go to the website to see all contact information for your State Committees.

VIC Committee
Looking forward to January 2022, hopefully the launch of a positive active year for Victorians
The Vic RP Committee will be running their RPOTY show at the EV Summer Show at WPEC on the 15th of January.
Planning is underway with a reduced program, the 1 ring with plenty on offer. We will be catering for 3 years of Newcomers. Holding the final of the 2020 Newcomer ridden as well as classes for Newcomers for 2021 and 2022 and applicable Overheights. The program will be out this week, judge to be advised. There are sponsorship opportunities for Champions/Reserves.
We will also be running our RP Summer Festival in February on the 12th at Barastoc. Details to follow.
Our committee currently comprises Chairperson Paul Dunstan, Vice Chair and PR Diane Jose, Director Greg Gerry, Rosie Metherall as Treasurer & Substitute Director, Acting Secretary Tara Kirk and General Committee Sally Rich. So we are operating with reduced numbers, please be aware of that when contacting your society volunteers especially when we start running our shows again.
