2018 November Members Newsletter

From the Board

Welcome, RPSBS members to the November Newsletter.

Our state committees are in the midst of organising or running RPSBS shows for their members. We ask our members to support these committees as much as possible by entering and competing at these shows or volunteering to help. There is nothing more deflating for our workers to put all the effort and expense into organising events for them not to be supported.

We also encourage our members to provide feedback on these events to our state committee volunteers. Volunteers need to be encouraged and a “Thank you” or “Great job” means a lot and don’t forget those “Thank you” to the sponsors.

Check out the new suggested Child’s Ridden Workout on the RPSBS website which has been simplified following requests from the floor of the Annual General Meeting.

The revised State Governance and Procedures document will be published as soon as we are informed that there is no conflict with the Constitution.

Condolences from the Riding Pony Stud Book Society Ltd. go to our patron, Peter Barry of Mirinda Stud fame, on the passing of his wife Robyn who suffered from a debilitating illness for many years. Robyn was an extremely accomplished equestrienne, well-known and liked among the showing fraternity.  May Peter find some consolation in Robyn being finally at peace.

Registration Processing Delay
During the month of November there will be a delay in the processing of registration due to staff holidays so it is important that you do not leave registrations and memberships to the last minute if you want to show;
