It is with mixed emotions we announce the retirement of longstanding Board members Mike Smith (QLD); Robert Cockram (VIC); and Tania Hay (TAS).

Mike Smith’s commitment and contribution as Chair of the Board, his leadership and professionalism has assisted the Society to go from strength to strength, in particular through the uncertainty of COVID.  Mike elected to retire from the Board prior to his term ending, the current Board are working with the Queensland Committee to confirm the nomination of a replacement Director with the details to be communicated once confirmed.

Both Robert Cockram and Tania Hay concluded their respective terms on the Board, both having played an integral part of the Society’s ongoing success.  At the recent Victorian State Annual Meeting the newly elected Committee was endorsed, following the meeting the Committee met to elect office bearer positions and we are pleased to announce that Greg Gerry has been nominated as Director by the Victorian Committee.  The Tasmanian Committee is in the process of confirming their elected positions and will advise as soon as this has been completed.
