NSW Committee
2026 ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW recorded 276 Riding Ponies entered in RPSBS Breed Classes, a rewarding response to Royal Canberra Show, RPSBS Board, State Committees, members, studs, businesses and services who sponsored, exhibitors, Judges who officiated, our Ring Stewards and those who worked in the RPSBS Marquee which was very well received by sponsors and competitors. NSW & National President, John Paget, NSW Secretary and Board Member, Alison Doyle and Board Secretary Kerry Patchett worked hard with Canberra’s Horse Committee to make this culmination of the Society’s 50th Jubilee celebrations a success.
Two UK Judges, Penny Carvoso and Adam Forster, judged the Jubilee Championships and Michael Baker from NSW judged the RPSBS Child’s Ridden Classes. It was exciting to see RPSBS Overheight Riding Ponies over 14.2hh included in the Canberra program for the first time. We hope Canberra will continue to include Overheigh8ts in the RPSBS program.
