Membership Renewals have now been either emailed or mailed to all Members, with memberships expiring 30th June 2026.
Theses are due 1st July and Memberships will be lapsed for members who have not renewed by the due date.
Online Membership Renewals are available by accessing the Studbook from the website and logging on, or clicking on this link https://www.rpsbs.com.au/renew-memberships-online/
Renewals completed online are quick and your membership is renewed instantly.
Please Note:
- You will need to know your membership number and your email address must be correctly recorded on the RPSBS Studbook to renew this way.
- Names on memberships cannot be amended as they relate directly to ownership of animals and historical studbook information.

The online studbook is also available for you to check the status of your membership and your pony’s registration.
Judges Memberships
RPSBS memberships are due for renewal by 30 June 2026.
Working with Children Check
Please note that all judges are required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent clearance to remain on the judges’ list.
If you have not already done so, kindly forward a copy of your current WWCC or equivalent documentation to secretary@rpsbs.com.au at your earliest convenience.

2026 RPSBS NSW STATE RIDING PONY SHOW
Date: Saturday 17th October
Venue: Sutton Farm Equine Centre

This is quite a change of date to avoid clashes with EA National Show Horse & Rider Championships and a SHCA Grand National Qualifier which fall in late November / early December. Showground venues around Sydney are not easy to find. We hope members support this change. In 2027 the NSW Committee will reassess available venues and dates.
In June we feature NSW Riding Ponies competing with great success at Agricultural Shows in Open Show Rings as well as their breed classes.

Royal Windsor Horse Show – Judge’s report from Rosie Metherall
How exciting is was to be asked to Judge at the Recent Royal Windsor Horse Show.
This show runs in the Grounds of the Famous Windsor Castle and runs for 4 days in May each year. I was asked to Judge both the Riding and show Hunter Ponies in Lead Rein and First Ridden. My fellow Judge was a delightful chap by the name of Clive who was from Ireland.
We had beautifully presented ponies and their young riders. Recently a new part of the First ridden in the show hunters class was used. This involved a small array of poles, and very small obstacles for the young riders to weave around. This was well organised.
Thank You the organization of the Royal Windsor Horse Show for this amazing Opportunity.

Foal and Youngstock Show
On the 31st May we held our Foal and Youngstock show at Tatura, classes were wll supported with entry numbers greater than expected. The committee would like to thank Susy Stewart for judging on the day and Leanne Newley for stewarding.
Judges Report from Susy Stewart
I was very honoured to be asked to officiate as judge in Ring 1 at this year’s show.
A showcase of exceptional young riding ponies, full and part-bred breeds from across the state, beautifully presented by their breeders and handlers.
The weather was favourable, as it was held in the indoor arena, for which the participants and spectators were very grateful. I look forward to following these babies in the future coming out under saddle, as that is what it’s all about!
It was a delight to be part of this wonderful show, and I would also like to thank the committee, sponsors and stewards for their amazing efforts. Special thanks to my steward, Leanne Newley, for her assistance throughout the day.
