STALLION TENDER
The Victorian Committee would like to sincerely thank our generous stallion owners who kindly donated a stallion service for this year’s Stallion Tender. Once again it was a great outcome for our members who continually support this venture.

2026 QLD RIDING PONY PAGEANT
Held at Park Ridge Pony Club Grounds in conjunction with the EA Show Horse QLD Youth Show.
2026 QLD RIDING PONY OF THE YEAR SHOW
The Qld Riding Pony Committee held the 2026 Qld Riding Pony of the Year Show at Park Ridge Pony Club grounds on 5 July. The show was run in conjunction with the EQ Winter hack show and was well supported by a quality line-up of competitors and their ponies.

Being that it’s the off season in SA for showing we don’t have alot of show results to share but the SA RPSBS Committee are working hard to bring SA members their two biggest events for the 2026 / 2027 show season with some lead up shows starting in August!

2026 PORTELLI RACING RPSBS NSW STATE RIDING PONY SHOW

2027 ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW
In 2027, the ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW celebrates its 100th Birthday. The Riding Pony Stud Book Society will be there to help Canberra celebrate this very special occasion.
RPSBS NSW Committee has three exciting pieces of news for our members.
A financial member who shows any registered Riding Pony that you own or lease at the 2026 PORTELLI RACING NSW STATE RIDING PONY SHOW will automatically be eligible to win $500 cash if you win a Champion Riding Pony award or $250 if you win a Reserve Champion Riding Pony award in RPSBS Breed Classes with any Riding Pony you show at 2027 ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW.
In other words, if you support your State Riding Pony Show you, as a member, can then show any number of your Riding Ponies at 2027 ROYAL CANBERRA CENTENARY SHOW and they will be eligible for the cash prizes if you win a Champion or Reserve in Riding Pony breed classes.
You, the member, are the key to accessing the cash prizes, not specifically the ponies you exhibit at our RPSBS State Show. We look forward to seeing lots of member exhibitors and their entries at our State Show that progress to Royal Canberra!
The cash prizes will be managed by RPSBS through the generosity of individual sponsorships plus support from the Board and State Committees.
2026 NNSW SHA HACK CHAMPIONSHIPS will include two Riding Pony feature rings at this SHC Grand National qualifier. This Riding Pony program is a second NSW qualifier for the cash prizes in RPSBS Breed classes at 2027 ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW.
Date: Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September Venue: Hawthorne Park, Grafton.
RPSBS NSW Committee is providing the rosettes and ribbons for this show. We look forward to seeing lots of member competitors qualify for Royal Canberra’s RPSBS rewards at this show too.
2027 ROYAL CANBERRA SHOW has included Overheight Riding Ponies exc. 14.2hh in the 2027 RPSBS Breed program following the excellent support RPSBS Overheights received in 2026. VERY EXCITING!
In June we feature NSW Riding Ponies competing with great success at 2026 Agricultural Shows, in Open Show Rings, in breed and classification classes and in shows run by EA and SHCA. We feature registered Riding Ponies that are owned, led and ridden by financial members.
