Another reminder from The Office that Royal Show checks are still being currently being conducted, more recently, Toowoomba, therefore, please ensure that:

 All owners / exhibitors / handlers / riders are current financial members of the Riding Pony Stud Book Society Ltd. AND

That all ponies must be registered, transferred or leased to their correct owner/lessee, and entered as such.

Please ensure you allow adequate time prior to the close of entries to have your unregistered or not transferred/leased ponies paperwork completed.  Members requesting transactions to be processed at short notice will be charged the published Fast Track Fee AND are not guaranteed that they will be completed if lodged at the eleventh hour prior to a show.

We always strive to do our best to accommodate members lodging paperwork and requiring it quickly, however, some matters are beyond our control, particularly if your paperwork is incomplete, incorrect or lodged just a day or two before the show.

ALSO NOTE THAT a $20 send back fee will be imposed for any paperwork that has to be returned a second time to the member for corrections or omissions.  Read the paperwork and ensure EVERYTHING is completed correctly prior to lodgement.

With the show season in full swing, you can now submit photos for 2024,
and these photos may also be shared on social media for current events!

2024 Royal Canberra Show

The NSW Riding Pony Committee was very pleased to have been a major sponsor for the Riding Pony classes at the 2024 Royal Canberra Show.

The classes were well supported with truly massive numbers in the ridden sections.  Competitors are very lucky at Canberra as the Riding Pony program includes both Led and Ridden Show ponies and Show Hunter ponies AND  special classes for Riding Ponies ridden by children.

NSW members were well represented in the broad sashes with numerous Champions etc going to NSW.

Sydney Royal Easter show

The NSW committee is also the sponsor of classes for Riding Ponies, both Led and Ridden at the Sydney Royal Easter show.  This year our classes will be on Thursday 28/03/2024, again we have good entries for these classes and as a committee we are excited to have secured a trophy rug for the Junior Gelding section.  If you are a successful competitor at Sydney please send us your photos for inclusion in our Sydney Easter show section for the 2024 Annual.

RPSBS Ponies will be the feature breed at the Minto Autumn show to be held on Sunday 5/5/2024 at Menangle Park Paceway.

The program will be available shortly, and can be viewed on Emmas website and on the Minto Agricultural show Facebook page.  Further details will follow.

Finally the NSW RP State Show will be held on Sunday  01/12/2024 at the beautiful polo Club grounds in nth Richmond.  watch this space for further details.
