Our committee is trying, where we can, to assist Agricultural Shows to get Riding Pony classes added back into programs. Please follow our Facebook page for upcoming shows that have these classes. If any shows are missing let us know and we will add to the Calendar of Events.  Please support these classes as we are looking at running Jackpot classes at our State Riding Pony of the Year Show in January.

Whilst this has been going on we have been excitingly planning our “Pageant in the Park” show held in Berwick on Sunday 10th December. Program and sponsors being finalised for a jam-packed program over 3 rings with numerous Supremes on offer & cash prizes. Program released soon with a great youngstock program, seniors in hand & ridden plus over height, over height led’s split juniors & seniors, Home Produced, Child’s classes & few breed classes. We hope you can all join us by coming along and competing at our Pageant in the Park show. There are still a few sponsorship opportunities available for $75. If you would like to sponsor please reach out via our FB page.

NSW Committee

The NSW RPSBS State show will be held on Sunday 26 November 2023.

The venue is the beautiful Polo Grounds at Nth Richmond.

The NSW Committee is pleased to announce a price reduction for entries for the 2023 NSW RP State Show.  All entries will now be $20 per class.

A new section specifically for children will encompass a handler class – divided into age groups, a Rider class, again in age groups and a height + rider age class for ponies ridden by a child.

The scores allocated from these 3 separate classes will be tallied together and winners and place-getters in the two section, juniors and seniors decided.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded at the show. The cost is $20 for the 3 classes.

All children MUST be either members in their own right or participant members.

Call the office if you need to add your child to your membership.

We have also added Tiny Tots to the program, again membership is a pre-requisite.

Entry for the show will be via SAMS and our plan is for the program and schedule to be available very shortly- hopefully Tuesday 17/10 with closure on Thursday 17/11.

Another incentive for members to enter is the opportunity to win a $50 fuel voucher.

Each pony entered will receive a number and we will use the random number app to hand out 10 vouchers during the show.   Just enter and you are in the running.

Watch out for the full details next week on Facebook, the RPSBS website and Emma’s.

We hope to see lots and lots of members at the show. Collect some RP friends bring a picnic and maybe some bubbles and enjoy a fantastic day out.
