Directors Report
The individual states have had an extremely busy month with major shows being carried out along with the committee planning for the year ahead and what an exciting year it is going to be with a strong direction of the national board focusing on growing the numbers within the Riding Pony Stud book society we have already seen an increase in numbers at events. As a board we have a strong focus on growing our judge list and we have a call out to anyone who maybe interested to look on the website www.rpsbs.com.au and fill out the application and criteria section and return it to us.
We welcome Jane Clifford who has been appointed our national Treasurer, Jane brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience and is working on MYOB package to help with statements to simplify the use of the current accounting system. Jane will also be providing training for our state users and will be available to assist them when they experience any difficulties no matter how minor.
Canberra Royal is upon us already, a feature of the show calendar and a fantastic long standing agricultural show that exhibits multiple standout equestrian events! We would like to wish all those attending a safe and successful trip and for those unable to attend it this year we hope that you can put it in the diary for next year.

VIC Committee
The Summer Festival was held on Saturday the 11th of February at WPEC in conjunction with Barastoc HOTY.
What a magnificent day we had, with great numbers, happy competitors who were really kept on their toes with so many breeds and open classes to contend with. So thank you to all members who supported our breed ring.
Caroline Parker from Cheraton Stud was our judge and she was so engaging, efficient and availed her time to every competitor. We had a long day finishing late in the afternoon but that did not faze Caroline who continued with a smile and a pleasantness to be admired.
Thank you to our supporters. We had 17 championships and 14 of them were accounted for, the Victorian Committee took up the last 3 so that every championship had prizemoney on offer. We offered a cash prize (claimable by voucher) of $50 for each championship. We also had over 100 entries.
