Moved house? Changed your email? You can update your personal details anytime by logging into the Riding Pony Stud Book Society online database.

Spring is just around the corner! If you’re planning to use your stallion this season, make sure he meets all requirements and submit your Stallion Nomination Form. Click here

🎪 Entering a Show? Read This First!

Breed and Show Societies are strictly checking registrations and memberships. If you’re entering a show under RPSBS rules, make sure:

• Your pony is registered under the correct exhibitor (you, the “registered” owner).
• You, the exhibitor, are a current financial member.
• Your handler or rider is at least a Participant Member of RPSBS.

🧠 Remember:

• Exhibits in gelding classes must be gelded and registered as a gelding with RPSBS
• Exhibits which are foal recorded are ineligible to be shown in classes for geldings or colts/stallions four years and over — colt foal recordings expire at four years of age so won’t cut it.
• Colts aged 2+ must also be entire (and have an appropriate vet certificate on file with the RPSBS prior to the show)

Updates to the Showing Rules Conditions of Entry:

Rule 52. All ponies over 3 years of age must have a current height certificate. Youngstock or ponies 3 years of age and under without a current height certificate may be subject to a day measurement. Life certificates are accepted.

Newcomers – Rules 81, 83,84,85,88,89,93 have been amended. Newcomers no longer require a newcomer card or have to pay a nomination fee.

2026 Canberra Royal Show will hold our National RPSBS Jubilee Celebration Show that includes additional Jubilee Championship classes in a two ring program in honour of our Jubilee. Overheight Riding Ponies are part of that program, an exciting first time inclusion in Canberra’s Riding Pony classes.

NSW Committee is preparing the 2025 ‘Exclusively Equine’ NSW JUBILEE STATE RIDING PONY SHOW Date: Sunday 16th November Place: Windsor Polo Grounds, Richmond

By attending and competing at our RPSBS State Show you become eligible to enter the additional RPSBS Jubilee Championship classes at 2026 Canberra Royal Show regardless of placing at the NSW State Show.

NSW Committee is sponsoring 2025 Lismore North Coast National Show to support some of our members who may not be able to attend the NSW State Riding Pony Show. Competing in Lismore Riding Pony classes will also qualify members to compete in the RPSBS Jubilee Championship classes at 2026 Canberra Royal regardless of placing.

Congratulations to some of our Multi-Registered Riding Ponies that compete successfully in other breed rings.
