Chair Report
Winter has arrived with rain winds and snow, it is not the time to be out showing our Riding Ponies but there are some very brave individuals and committees who have had some successful Foal and Youngstock Shows despite the bad weather, well done.
All State committees have held their State Annual Meetings and we welcome Mark Lilley ( Qld) and Fiona Clark (Tas) to the Board as new Directors , this means we now have a full representation on the Board from all States.
A reminder that the National AGM is being held in Sydney on Saturday 25th June at the Novatel Hotel Mascot at 11.00 am, all Financial members are invited to attend by registering with secretary@rpsbs.com.au or you may attend via the zoom link again register with the Secretary.
The RP Annual is well underway to be posted out to all financial members, a great gallery of photographs are in this year’s edition as well as many wonderful stories. Many thanks to all Publicity persons from all committees for undertaking this mammoth job as well as Eleanor Gerry and Despina from Show Pony Graphics for their expert knowledge in putting together a wonderful booklet of riding ponies.
On a serious note we the Board are reflecting on the use of social media to denigrate our Judges, this is frowned upon and many Societies are reminding members that there is a Code of Conduct by which all members are to abide by.
