Welcome to the RPSBS National Website

The Riding Pony Stud Book Society will be 40 years old
in 2015.

As the breeding pool and therefore the number of Section A bred ponies registered in the RPSBS Stud Book increased, Riding Ponies increasingly dominated Show and Show Hunter Pony and Galloway show rings around Australia.

Many junior members compete in Pony Club and Interschool training and competitions, proving the versatility of many of the breed while an increasing number of Riding Ponies compete in Pony Dressage competitions.

With the Thoroughbred, Arab and native pony breeding background of Riding Ponies it is inevitable that some ponies grow beyond the 14.2hh height limit. Overheight Riding Ponies have been just as successful as their Riding Pony counterparts who stay within the height limit.

Plans for the RPSBS Ruby Anniversary in 2015 are already under way.
